The New Student Convocation is a 麻豆AV tradition that honors your accomplishments and marks the official beginning of your college experience. Join us as we welcome you into the 麻豆AV community and kick off this exciting chapter together. 

This event connects you to the people, resources and opportunities that will support you along the way!

The Fall River Campus (G Building Atrium) will host the full experience, including a welcome program, club fair, food and interactive activities. Attleboro, Taunton and New Bedford locations will join the celebration with food, giveaways and a livestream of the formal presentation so students at every location can participate. 

At Convocation, you鈥檙e invited to sign a traveling banner that represents your commitment to college completion. It will visit all 麻豆AV locations so you can participate no matter where you attend.

What is Convocation?

Convocation is a welcoming tradition at colleges and universities. It marks the beginning of your academic experience and brings new students together with faculty, staff, and classmates to celebrate what you鈥檝e already accomplished鈥攁nd what鈥檚 ahead. Think of it as the starting point of your 麻豆AV story.
